About Keagan's

Keagan's is the place for every occasion. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, drinks with friends, or somewhere to hold your next function we’ve got you covered.

About the pub

As part of the original development in Town Center, Keagan’s Irish Pub and Restaurant is the perfect venue to celebrate any special occasion. Celebrating 12 years as a part of the community, we offer a unique location with great food and plenty of cheer from our friendly staff that can set your event apart from the rest. The ornate pub interior is complete with a vast, gorgeous bar restored from original Irish wooden furnishings and bric-a-brac.

The Music Room

This room is a perfect space for larger occasions. It is a unique and beautiful space with a large bar, high-top tables, leather seating and rich wall finishes. The room includes a stage, large drop-down screen, multiple TV screens and full sound and lighting system.

The Craft Beer Room

Recently renovated, our Craft Room is a perfect environment to enjoy some of the product of our local craft breweries. The rotating list on offer is covered on our blackboards and our staff are trained and familiar with all our craft beers. So if you want to try something new and local, sit down relax and enjoy the best craft beers from the tidewater area and beyond. There’s no rush.

The Rustic Room

This raised area is a perfect spot for a quiet meal or drink away from the main bar areas. This area is ideal for private parties or a viewing area for any big sporting event. It’s large drop-down screen and multiple TVs provide a perfect spot to watch sports with friends and family.

The Cigar Parlor

If you enjoy a smoke with your beverage of choice then we have the perfect spot for you. Our room has a full bar, multiple TVs and large screens for watching a game and pool tables to keep you entertained. This unique space is a rare find to enjoy a pint, whiskey or fine cigar.

Keagan's in the Community

Here at Keagan’s, we love to bring our sense of family to the community and enjoy being involved with local community groups to make our neighborhood a better place to live, work and socialize.

We are particularly proud of our outreach work with sports groups such as Hampton Roads Hurling & Camogie groups. We are also heavily involved with local charities and try to give back to the community that so graciously welcomed us to the neighborhood.

General Manager

Ashlee Bragole

In 2007, while attending college I decided to begin my journey in the workforce. My dad was a regular at Keagan’s and so I figured “why not”? I wanted to be a bartender but I knew I was not old enough and so I applied to be a barback. Sadly they didn’t have any openings, so I was offered a position as a dishwasher. Not exactly thrilled to be washing dishes until 2am 5 nights a week; I knew I had to start somewhere. Shortly after, I was approached by the Kitchen Manager and asked to move to work on the line. Over the next few years I was able to learn, grow, and develop and in 2017 I was given the opportunity to be the General Manager!

Assistant Manager

Amy Swofford

Coming from the corporate world joining the Keagan’s family was a big change. It was like taking my glasses off for the first time and seeing things differently! Here at Keagan’s the staff is happy and quirky. Everyone here has something unique that makes them special. We take care of our guests and maybe even party with them. It’s a home here. Fun music, delicious food & a hilarious staff.

Assistant Manager

Sean Wills

When I was 16 years old, I bought an album called “Irish Drinking Songs” and played it on repeat until I had every lyric memorized. Tommy Makem, the Clancy Brothers, and The Dubliners created an idealized, fantasy version of the Irish pub and Irish culture with songs about love, loss, war, friendship, but most of all drinking! When my good friend put in a word for me and I got the barback position at Keagan’s, I was ecstatic. My stint as a barback taught me more than my six years in college. I learned there is no task too big or too small, no matter what my position may be.

Bartending has now led to an Assistant Manager position and I consider my co-workers and many of the folks I’ve met to be more than colleagues and customers—they are my family.

Slainte!
